Advanced Karting Academy

Looking for a fun way for your teen to get out of the house and enjoy some thrilling fun? Our Advanced Karting Academy gives kids the chance to tear up the track every day and learn sportsmanship and valuable driving skills. Between racing, great food, and all kinds of sports and activities, there’s never time to be bored at our track in RTP.

June 9 – August 22, 2025

Our Advanced Karting Academy is an intensive course with a set agenda for each day. A preview of the week:

 

  • Learn the correct method for proper steering
  • Learn the nuances of our multi-story track
  • Improving the control over throttle and break inputs
  • Developing the racing techniques for proper turn-in and apexing corners
  • Learn where to look for optimal course navigation
  • Improving the skills required to pass other drivers on the race track using the racing line
  • Prioritizing Safety

Improve Driving Skill

Refine your driving time with dedicated, instructed track time. Your racing abilities will greatly improve throughout the week, so we’ll end the week with a grand competition to see who is #1. Students will learn technique and skill to advance their racing and improve lap time. You will get exclusive track time – our track will only be open to the Driving Academy. RHK opens to the public at 10am on Friday, otherwise track will be exclusive to camp.

A Few Basic Rules

We have just a few rules that will make each teen’s experience go as smoothly as possible. Each teen needs to be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. For your teen’s safety, closedtoed shoes like tennis shoes are required. Teens and parents will need to review and sign our disciplinary policy.

Payment Information

All payments must be made one week before camp to secure your spot. We charge on a weekly basis and are not able to prorate days. If your teen needs to cancel, we need to be informed two weeks in advance to provide a refund.
